Buy an 850 or a S70? S70

I'm in the market for another Volvo. I currently have a 740T that just turned 200K, uses oil and has some piston slap when cold. In addition the paint on the roof and hood and trunk has started to crack.

I want to stay with a turbo engine!

Not having to been able to find a 940T within 500 miles I'm considering an 850 or a S70 with the turbo. not necessarily the T5 or R versions!

So here is the question which would be the better way to go? Later 850 or V70 if I decide to move up?

What kinds of problems do I look for. I know about the computer controlled Idle controls on the 99+ S 70s a look at the 850 board this AM generated a laundry list of problems that sent me back to looking harder at the S 70.
