Anyone have comments or warnings on recent 2WD V70s? V70-XC70 2006

Thanks for hints. My wife asked about the maintenance history and they said because of privacy issues, they could not show her the records. Typical dealer doublespeak. They gave her the brochure on the certified program and presumably they check the thing thoroughly. The KBB retail price shows as $19,500, but with the economic situation, I bet few cars are selling that those prices any more. Some friends in the chemical supplies industry tell me that around here (Mississippi), car sales have plummeted and repair shops are way down on business too.
