Diagnostic codes V70-XC70 2000

2000 XC, Flashing Arrow, CEL. I pulled codes today and got P0743 torque converter circuit electrical. Also P1618 manufac. controlled computer & auxillary output. I'm having a hard time finding out info on these. I went to the library and used ALLDATA. It had the 0743 code, also cross referenced to a volvo specific code of TCM 0054 PS System Stuck Off. I have no idea what they mean by ps system. Position sensor maybe??And I beleive that that code is triggering the 1618 one. If there is anybody with any input to these I would really appreciate it. The car is driving completely normal. That also makes it difficult to diagnose.
