Rain sensor/ Wiper speed issues

First, verify that the wiper blade goes over the sensor. The sensor is just above the rearview mirror. If the blade leaves streak marks, get new blades.

Clean the windshield, inside and outside. Use a glass cleaner, not windex, that is for automotive use so that it doesn't streak. I like Meguires and a good clean cloth.
