Compression Check V70-XC70 2001

Thanks for the reply Klaus. I went out to look for the COSensor wire, and couldn't locate anything that looked likely. I searched the forums and also had no luck :-(( What should I be looking for to disconnect the CPS?

My 01 V70 T5 is running beautiful, so I do like to tinker, so the idea of installing an under the hood light is appealing. Unfortunately, I'm just getting ready to go on vacation, so it will have to wait until mid November. I did take a quick look and noted some likely mounting areas for a switch, power source, and wire routing. I'll need to check around to see what might be a good light source. I'm thinking something like a dome light whose base would attach, and you could easily remove a cover to change the bulb when required.

If other forum members are tracking this, any suggestions for locating this kind of light fixture would be appreciated. I'm hoping the local Auto Zone will have something along this line, but I love to recycle parts from U-Pull It when possible.

BTW, I kept my old fuel filter from when I did the 90K mile service, and opened it up today to see just how much crap might be in there. To my surprise, it looked perfectly clean! Ya gotta love these new plastic gas tanks!
