control arm - bolts attached to subframe V70-XC70 1998

I can't really get any clear instructions on replacing the control arm - it looks like their are four bolts attached from the arm to the subframe. I have only looked so far, but with the position of the oil pan, the bolts seems darned near impossible to reach.
First question: are these bolts (4 per side) indeed the bolts I need to loosen?
2nd : Is there a secret to getting at them?
3rd : any shortcuts or special info. I need when replacing this?
