1997 850 T-5 - Heated Mirror Issue 850 1997

Hi,

I have a 1997 850 T-5 with heated mirrors. The passenger side heated mirror stopped working, but one day I used the switch to move the mirror, I think all the way inward, and then back out, and the heated mirror worked for one day, then stopped working again. Is it possible to have a loose wire connection to the back of the mirror, or do you think the element inside the mirror is bad? Are the mirrors easy to remove?

Thank you,

Michael
