OIL LEAK QUESTION V70-XC70 2001

My 2001 V70T5 starts to leak oil after about 10-15 minutes of highway driving. There is ba strong smell of burning oil, smoke out the back and smoke under the hood. It seems like oil is leaking onto the exhaust. Nothing is visible looking at the engine from the top. oil is leaking onto the ground leaving a trailwhen i park. when I start the engine from cold, it does not smoke at all. The oil leaking usually begins after accellerating to pass or steady highway speeds.Would this be the turbo failing? could it be a bad oil line? the turbo is not squeeling or making any unusual noises.
This Car has has an IPD computer mod,5 speed manual transmission and 110k miles.
Is this a bad turbo or could it be something else?
Can anyone put me on the right track?
