Microswitch ? S70 1998

It is NOT the microswitch or the PNP switch. Your button on the shifter is stuck, preventing the key from turning all of the way to the off position.

Try spraying a little oil around the shifter button. Put the shifter in L to get a better view.

If all else fails, the shifter can be pulled straight up and out. Be careful, the suden release and the amount of tension to pull it out may cause you to bump your head on the sunroof or have the shifter hit you in the face :) Then you can oil to your hearts content and shove the shifter back down.
