My New (to me) S60M has ECC, are these fairly reliable?

I leave my 01 V70 T5 in auto all the time. I only adjust the temp. On really hot days the AC is too cool at first so I turn it up some. I've also learned to control the fan speed with the temp gage such as in the above case. I also leave my AC switch set to on. If it isn't needed I don't think it is running, but to be truthful, I don't really care and have never checked. The only other adjustment is when I turn it to defrost mode.
