Dumb 850 sedan trunk strut question 850

The sedan trunk struts are a real pain! I used a wooden board to pop them off from the conection behind the rear seat, but I had to resort to getting my hand in there to "pop" the new ones back on. Yes, they will snap into place.
Make sure you go through the proper, upper holes so the strut is free when the trunk opens all of the way up. And connect the body end first, before attaching it to the trunk.
The OEM struts seem to fit easier/better than the generic struts.
