Translating Codes 422 and 412 850 1997

It's with my usually reliably Indy guy who does a lot of Volvo's, but not exclusively. I just called him and asked about the P0422 and he says no, it's just a Volvo code 422 and he knew that P0422 was about the cat converter. He sounds like he knows what he's talking about and I have been taking my 4 volvos to him for years. So I think we're on the right track. He is replacing a couple of old hoses and then we'll see if the code(s) come back.

Thanks Klaus for your help.
