A thought -- ask him the size of his engine ... 850 1996

Even with a 1-liter engine you will NOT get 229 mpg with a gasoline engine in an 850.
That is what 1.15 liters/100kM amounts to. And he claimed it was worse at 1.6 liters/100kM, which is only 164 mpg.

I wonder if he is claiming that for 10 kM rather than 100 but screwed up in typing. 10% of what he shows (16 and 23 mpg) actually makes some sense.
