Klaus C.: Update on XC70 vibration

Klaus,
Took wife`s XC into local shop a few days ago figuring this isn`t an issue that involves having Volvo software to diagnose.
Got a call today that problem is right front whl bearing. Part is expensive @ $363 but we are driving a Volvo, right?
An aside: justdrove back from Edmonton(200 miles) this afternoon after hearing that we are in for blizzard conditions here tonite. Vehicles in the ditch everywhere & lots of white knuckle driving on my part but made it back to the ranch without incident. Cows are fed & sheltered in windbreaks.
Thanks for your input!
Rich
