I understand the conversion from US$ to CDN$, but why is everything so expensive up there?

At least it is an easy fix.

We get your storm on Sunday. The local weathermen are predicting rain? first which will turn to ice on contact, our current single digit F temps won't let the ground warm up. Our first early December when the local small lakes are frozen enough to let the children ice skate in about 10 years. My garage temp has been hovering at 0C for the last few weeks and now there is ice on the floor at the entrance from the melting snow falling off the cars.

Is it Spring soon? Glad to hear your cows are safe, keep them happy :)
