ABS light, code 1-1-1 ??? 850

So I decide that along with replacing the heater core, in the name of routine maintenance,I'll check for any codes and reset. The only code I got was from socket A3, and it was a 1-4-4. That's was kind of odd, I could not im,agine when that happened. So I simply cleared the code.

So I disconnect the battery, replace the heater core, reconnect the battery and restart the car. Now the ABS light is on. Hmmm. I checked for codes, A-3 is still 1-1-1. So I tried clearing it again anyway, still I have an ABS light and a 1-1-1.

What happened?
