Fault codes 850

I have never heard of one going bad, it is just an on/off switch. I had to replace my lead because the wire finally broke off on both ends!!

Make sure the car is not running, just the key in posII. Close the car doors for some reason. If you can retrieve the code, you should be able to clear it after reading the code for the second time.

EDIT: A normal hand held scanner will also work. The plug is under the "coin" tray. Ask to borrow one at your local auto parts store.
