my 850 "cuts out' under hard acceleration 850 1995

2nd or 3rd posting here on this car, I just got it a few months ago. It's an 850 turbo wagon with an automatic trans. I've been having fun pushing it a bit and appreciating the extra power until recently when it started to "cut out" during hard acceleration. The first time it did it I had it basically floored in sport mode. It almost felt like it missed a shift, it just sort of stopped accelerating till I backed off the gas and it continued to drive fine under normal use. It did it again in sport mode, so I left it in econ mode and eventually, it did something similar under hard acceleration in econ.

It's at 129k, so will be in for a 130k service soon. I figure I'll be nice to it and bring it up then, but hoping someone might have some insights here as to how serious this might be. The car was serviced regularly prior to my purchase but other than that - I don't know much.

appreciate any tips/ideas/things to check out.

greg
