Starter Size 1.7 Vs 1.4 Kw Info.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

The starter on my 850 wagon went south and was not awared that they come in 2 different Kw ratings. The orginal size in the car was 1.7, but I found a 1.4Kw used starter for 25 dollars at a local U-pull. After 2 weeks, I have not encounter any problems starting the car and they seem interchangeable. So far so good!!!
