Snow traction XC90

If you dump kitty litter all over the driveway, aren't you asking for your neighbors cats to dump on your driveway? That could add to the slipperyness :)

You are right about cold. At -20F, the packed snow under the tires does not melt and refrease. It squeeks when you drive over it! It was -20F this morning and on Thursday morning it should be about -25F. Meanwhile, Fairbanks is above 0F during the daytime and northern MN is -40F/-40C. Too cold to work on cars.

Oh, when I suggested the BMW X5, I was refering to the 3L, not the 4.4L V8. Still, getting an XC70 would be much better than either. Better mileage and storage.
