Snow traction XC90

Not to spoil your X5 party, but wouldn't real snow tires be a cheaper option than trading cars completely?

Two thoughts:

1) in Canada where I live, the 'myth' of 'all season' tires has been a pretty big joke for a long time. Only super cheapos go without real snow tires, and in some provinces they are mandated by law. They really are better at providing traction in mud and snow and ice.

2) Where I live, the taxes alone on a swap like this (selling your XC90 and buying an X5, even used) would be much more than just spending the $500 bucks on real winter tires

Just something to think about.
