timing belt replacement s70 1999 69000 miles S70 1999

just got a call from the volvo dealer service advisor - strongly suggesting that I replace the timing belt and tensioner. Its never been done on this car, and I have only 69000 miles on it.

I know that volvo recommends 100000 miles for a replacement, but he argued that it should be done since the car is 9 years old.

I reluctantly agreed...

does this sound reasonable?
