Clock losing setting V70-XC70 2000

In the last couple of weeks, the clock in the instrument panel keeps loosing its setting. You can set it again and then later it will be off by several hours.

I am not sure, but think my battery is getting weak. It doesn't make sense to me that this would be related since there are no other apparent electrical issues.

Anyone had this experience?
