Continous battery drain S40-V40 2005

Hello,
How are you? I have a 2005 Volvo S40 that has had one replacement battery after the initial OEM failed due to drainage. Now, the new battery is also suffering the same faith. I have tried to recharge the battery with a deep cycle charger overnight and it would still drain. I have been trying to find some information on the internet about this problem and it I found one resource that indicated that the INFOTAINMENT system is not shutting down properly and that it needs to have a VADIS update to stop the INFOTAINMENT from draining the battery. Is there a way for me to do this without the dealer since the car is out of warranty.
Thanks,
JP
