oil cooler line replacement 850 1997

I'm about to try and replace a leaking oil cooler line again. 2 bloody bolts/clamps hold them in place down at the bottom and I'm having a devil of a time. I got the inboard bolt/clamp but the outer clamp screw scares the crap out of m me. I can't get a good look to really even see if it's hex, torx or what size the little bastard is. I'm afraid of stripping it. I did spray it up w/blaster. Anyone know some tricks?
