Help: I've messed up a timing belt change 850

Hi,

I lined up the cam gears when taking the timing belt off but stupidly ignored the crank gear - this is my first time. When taking the belt off, I noticed that the crank pulley was off by about 30 degrees from the mark.

Is it possible that things are completely out of synch now despite me lining all the gears up? Should cylinder 1 be at TDC and if so, which is cylinder 1?
How many times in the cycle will the cam and crank gears line up?

I'd be immensely grateful if somebody could help me out, this is my daily driver.

Regards,
Josh
