Replacing Heated Side Mirrors 850 1997

Hi,

Another update. As I mentioned before, the rear defroster works every time. But now, the driver's side heated mirror stopped working. So now both mirrors have an issue. But.....The driver's side mirror started working again. Not sure if it will keep working or not. The right side still isn't working. So now, both heated mirrors work intermittently.

Is it possible that the heating elements can work intermittently like this? Or, is it possible the switch is bad?
