Finally got to experience the AWD V70-XC70 1998

Over the holiday I had a similar experience with my mother's '00 V70XC. The AWD system works very well to get moving from a stop but even more impressive to me was the seamless way in which is does it. Where my 850 spins tires and TRACS cycles the ABS (loud buzzing noise) the XC just quietly goes about its business. No lag time, no harsh buzzing. Confidence inspiring, perhaps too much so. Too bad the fuel economy has to suffer for it.
