I recently picked up a 2004 V70 n/a for the wife, the old 740 and 940 weren't good enough I suppose. Anyhow, everything on the car seems pretty much in line with the exception of the rear wiper which does not function and the central locking system. The rear wiper will not come on at all, although I can hear a click from the fuse/relay panel at the rear of the car. The central locking system with the key or with the buttons manually inside the car will only lock the front two doors.
I can manually push down the lock on either rear door and that door (only) will lock and at this time I hear an audible click in the rear relay panel. Is there a relay in the rear fuse panel that controls the locking and the wiper and is it the same one for both possibly. The tailgate open light stays on as well and when trying to use the remote to open it, I get nothing (no click).
All fuses are good and intact and from what I can read the tailgate is most likely the switch integrated in the latch, but I haven't been able to find a lot of information about the other issues. Thanks in advance for your time.
