odometer not working 850

P2 is the new body style introduced in 2001, so that makes it a first year wagon. I has a 5 speed tranny and more electronics, of course. The battery was moved to the trunk area, IIRC. There are 3 different fuse locations and some of the relays have been put back under the dash.
You can reset the service reminder and you will need a scanner to get the diagnostic codes. The cabin blower stays on after engine shutdown if the AC was on, it helps dry the evaporator. There is a cabin filter which needs to replaced annually.
If you flush the tranny, use mobile 1 3309 fluid. Flushing the PS fluid with tranny fluid is a no-no, use synthetic fluid.
The P2 cars use a different oil filter than the old standby - Mann.

I suggest driving it for an hour under different conditions and see what you think. Get service records, of course.
