Checking fuel pressure 850

In my quest to resolve my slight miss at idle (see my prior posts under oil_burning_rough_idle) and after about 1000 miles since last check, I'm going to again check for codes (none last time) and check the small hose in the vacuum tree Klaus informed to check, and might as well check O2 sensor function. I don't have any holes in the accordian hose between the throttle body and MAF, and have used a MAF cleaer to clean it.. In the last 200 miles or so, in addition to the miss at idle, I'm noticing a slight hesitation or miss under moderate acceleration and somewhere around 3000 to 3500 rpm. I've never checked the fuel pressure, and don't have a true fuel pressure gauge. I'm guessing it is a really stupid idea to try my tire pressure gauge here even though it's a Shrader valve, isn't it? So what's a cheap way to measure the fuel pressure?
