Starting Problems -- Again S60 2001

Son's '01 S60 failed to start again today, after a trip to the dealership and a new starter a few weeks ago. Does anyone have a wiring schematic for this car? I'm wondering what the circuit's like between the key switch and the starter solenoid. I'd like to connect a remote starter switch to the starter solenoid, depress the clutch, turn the key to "start" and engage the remote switch and see what happens, but he's 300 miles away. Is there another relay somewhere that I should re-solder or change? Any other thoughts?
