Error codes on my v70 running too rich? V70-XC70 1997

Hi guys. I have a problem with my v70 t5 estate (manual). The engine warning light comes up and when the error code is read it is P0172 - Too rich on bank 1 or fuel trim too rich bank 1. This didn't seem to affect the running of the engine as it remained smooth as silk and still pulls like a train. That was until I was turning into my road at all of 10 mph yesterday when I lost power and the car stalled but when started wouldn't pull away almost like fuel starvation. This cleared after a few minutes but I got a new error code - P0102 MAF low input Mass or Volume air flow circuit low input. I'm thinking that the MAF sensor needs replacing which seems to be giving the ECU bogus readings leading to the engine running too rich? Am I being too simplistic or are their other reasons for these fault codes? Also where and how much should I expect to pay for a new MAF sensor? - Cheers, Gus
