XC90 quick question... V70-XC70 2000

Anyone knows if the upcoming XC90 will get a low range gear? I anticipate some answers like ".. it isn't designed for true offroad.. " okay, if we use a little more common sense, I still think there are advantages having a low gear even out of rough terrain, such as when going down a steep driveway when icy or covered in deep snow. My current XC even in 1st gear is not enough to use engine breaking power.
