FM Radio blues. 850 1996

So I've got a 850 Turbo and I've been having intermittent problems with the radio lately. The FM reception has been terrible. The radio is the model with the single CD player in the dash.

The FM reception has been really bad and often times you can't get any FM at all. I've tried pulling it out of the dash and wiggling the wires but that doesn't seem to fix it. I'm going to take it to a dealer and have them puzzle over it but I thought someone here might have a suggestion.
