I had the lamda warning light come on the day I got my 850. I took it back and the problem was a faulty cam sensor. This was replaced at no cost to myself so unfortunately I can't tell you what it cost. If you've just bought the car from a dealership, they should replace it for you. When you buy a car it must be fit for the purpose it is sold for, so event if you don't have a warranty you still have some comeback. At least that's situation in the UK
