Scott,

I have had the steering wheel replaced in my C70 and my sister's C70 all under warranty for the same problem "leather cancer".

I would Email your Volvo Regional Rep. xxxxx@mail.Volvo.com.

I am sure that your wheel looked terrible hundreds of miles before the warranty expired. I would pursue this issue because Volvo knows it is a problem.
