'Small transmission leak' sounds very much like a rear main seal -probably about $800-$900 and with the rest of that laundry list, I'd move on (if not run screaming) When I visit RI, I get a grin from seeing more Volvos per capita than almost anywhere else. Try to find someone who maintains meticulously.
