Re: A1 Fault code 2-3-2 and flashing arrow on dash 850 95

232 is the speedo sensor signal absent. 143 is the kickdown switch faulty or short circuit to ground.

Try clearing the codes and see if either returns after driving. If not, I wouldn't worry but if they return, you'll probably need those parts. The kickdown switch is part of the throttle cable located at the firewall, engine side and the speedo sensor for earlier 850s (not sure about '95 at the moment?) was on the upper rear, right side of the trans near where the r axle shaft exits the trans. Newer 850s got that signal from the ABS system, no separate sensor on the trans.
