Re: Check engine light 850 1994

That light would only go out if it burned out unless the fault codes were read and the light reset. The check engine light means there is something wrong in the emission control system (probably an O2 sensor). Get a repair manual and check the fault codes which will tell you exactly what is wrong. Before you do anything though, check to see if the check engine light comes on then goes out when you start the car (which it should).
