Interior lights not switching off, battery running down V70-XC70

Thanks Klaus, believe it or not I'm still playing with this problem. I bought a lock assembly from a salvage yard and have fitted it into the rear door. However the light problem continues from the front door. 2 questions - is the lock assembly the same for the 2 right side doors and the window guide in the front door is fixed with a rivet rather than a screw and do I need to drill it out to remove the lock? Many thanks for your help.
