Red Idito BRAKE light on............ 850 1995

O.K., I pulled into the parking lot at work this morning and immediately the red BRAKE light came on. Good timing, huh? Anyway after reading the manual from the glovebox, it stated that the brake fluid level is low. I checked under the hood and sure enough it was right at or below the MIN line.

My question is can I drive the car about 3 miles to the nearest parts store to buy some more fluid without damaging the car? Looks like it takes something called DTO 4+.
