Electrical, starter, who knows? 850 1996

First of all I need help, I know nothing about cars! On Thusday I turned the ignition and nothing. The panel lit up like a Christmas tree, turned it again, nothing, again and nothing. Then the alarm went off! I pressed every botton there was to push on my keyless entry. Then I got out and put the key in the door and turned it - the alarm finally went off. I opened the hood (as if I knew what to do) to see if the batter was bad. That couldnt be it because I just got it a month ago. So I taped on it with my key and tried to start the car - of course it started right up. I take it to get the battery checked, and the battery is fine. The net day, same thing, tunred three times and the alarm goes off. Is it the starter going out on me or a mechanical problem or a bad fuse? Help, I need my car and I don't trust mechanics.
