Re: Fog Lights 850 1995

Davo--your fog lights won't work unless you install a "J" relay (so marked on the outside of the little aluminum cube) in the upper left corner of the relay board under the dash. There's been considerable discussion on this relay about two weeks ago and what a bitch it is to get it pushed into the board because you can't see where it goes and additionally, a circuit board is in the way, which you have to drop out of the way by loosening (not taking out) two ten millimeter bolts (the wiring board is slotted, and you have to mess with it to get it to come loose so you can move it out of the way, and then you have enough wrist room to install the relay. For most people, even those triple-jointed, you have to pull out the two-inch long relay just to the right of it in order to see where the "J" relay goes. If you need a "J" relay instantly, pop the hood, unscrew the lid on the relay box located right beside the fuse box, and there are a couple of them in there doing whatever. Pull one loose and install it in the far upper left corner of the board under the dash and see if your fog lights come on. Let me know how things go. Dick
