URO control arms? 850

Installed a URO parts right control arm about a year ago. Needed replaced because the inner bushings got screwed up, which is another story, but the ball on it was fine. The left control arm / ball joint assembly (probably real Volvo part) has been on the car since I bought it 2 1/2 years ago. It seems fine, while the right ball is trashed, easily detectable by hand, after just about one year of use. Are these parts not good? Did I get a defective part? Or hit something particularly bad on the right side?
