"DISC" displayed on trip computer display 850 1997

posted by  someone claiming to be Andrew Cannon on  Mon Dec 17 01:46 CST 2001 [RELATED]

When I switch the info selector from temperature to average miles per hour I get a momentary display of "DISC". This message is shown on the little LCD display where the time is shown at the center of the instrument panel. What does this mean. Is it a glitch? Does it have to do with the brakes or the CD player?
