You're just wasting your time here as you'll never get enough facts and people with enough money to win this with Volvo. You ARE refering to older, higher mileage cars and AC is also not a safety issue. Volvo's also hardly alone in this evaporator related issue ever since the EPA banned R12 in favor if 134a. Many other makes of vehicles share the same AC problems.

I've personally been told by VCNA people that it'll never happen.

Life's way too short to get everyone exited over something so trivial and that you also won't win. Of course I'm sure you'll find lawyers to take your hard earned money, just don't expect to see any of come back home.
