850GLT's What to know when buying 850 94

Other than the obvious things to look for on a used vehicle, what are the key areas on an 850GLT Wagon. I don't have a year in mind and it may not matter if its a nice example. Years to avoid and why? and also years that are good and why? New to the Volvo name, an Audi man up to this point but they don't have a decent wagon in my price range.
