No Start 850

In addition to the excellent advice Klaus has offered, I'll suggest that you check that all the timing marks line up as they should.
If there's no interference it probably can't be so far off that the car wouldn't start, but it may be worth checking to eliminate variables. Requires removing the RF wheel to access the crank pulley.

I hope it's something simple like a loose wire, not something catastrophic.

You mention it's AWD. Not that it makes much difference, but I don't think they offered an AWD 850 in the US. Could it be that it's a V70XC (98 and newer)?
