850 abs question

hi all. since the end of last summer, my 1995 850's ABS and TRACS warning lights have been switching on and off every now and then. based on what i've read on the forum it's the abs module, because the odometer also stopped working around february. i've been looking on ebay and other sites for a used abs module and most of them come without traction control. i'm wondering (since i don't want to shell out up to $500 for a new one) if i can use one without tracs on my car so that the abs and odometer will work again. any help would be appreciated
